Seems like the fireworks started at about dark - between 8:30 and 9:00 - and parking is off of 52 near the City Hall building. There will be plenty of cones and police directing traffic, so you'll know exactly where to go and what to do. I recommend getting there an hour or two early for good parking and set-up, but there's not a bad seat in the house, so arriving close to start time shouldn't make it difficult to see the fireworks once they've started. There will be plenty of cones and police directing traffic, so you’ll know exactly where to go and what to do. The Recreation Commission had to decide whether to offer a scaled down event at another venue, or whether to cancel it entirely. I'm sure anyone who has seen the wonderful fireworks will be glad to know they weren't canceled this year! Due to space restrictions at the Municipal Center, the event will only feature music and fireworks. The pony rides, jump castles, etc. will not be available this year. The huge fireworks display will be the focus of the night. Because of the parking and space restrictions, as well as the fact that this venue is off a very busy highway, we're asking everyone to make safety a priority.
